Exhibitions, Projects & Events 2027

Drawing Box International presents a year-round programme of exhibitions, artist projects and collaborative events across Ireland and internationally. Through partnerships with galleries, museums, artist-led spaces and cultural organisations, we create opportunities for subscribed members to exhibit their work, connect with new audiences and celebrate contemporary drawing in all its forms.

Our 2027 programme includes exhibitions by our subscribed membership at l’Espace Socio-Culturel, Rustrel, France; a commemorative exhibition at AG Art & The Milk Factory in the Netherlands honouring Drawing Box member Andre Geertse; projects in California, USA; Limerick Museum in October; and Cavan Town Hall Arts Centre, with additional venues and collaborations for 2028 to be announced throughout the year.

Since its inception in 2012, Drawing Box International has organised and toured 25 exhibitions, presenting the work of our membership across Ireland and internationally, including France, the Netherlands, Italy, Greece, Cyprus, Lithuania, Malaysia, India, the Philippines and the United States. Two major touring collections, comprising over 500 A5 drawings, have been donated to NIVAL (National Irish Visual Arts Library), Dublin, where they are held as part of the public collection, documenting a significant chapter in the organisation’s history.
