Jean Doyle
Jean Doyle is a visual artist and part-time independent curator based in Dublin, Ireland. She holds an honours degree in Fine Art (Painting) from the National College of Art and Design, Dublin (2007). Jean has also studied Fine Art at the Accademia di Belle Arti de Bologna, Italy (Erasmus 2006).
From 2007 to 2012, Jean worked as a full-time professional artist, curator and artistic Director (voluntary) at Ranelagh Arts Centre in Dublin where she was Resident Studio Artist until 2018.
In October 2012, Jean received an Arts Council award for travel and training which enabled her to take part in a 6-week artist’s residency in Orissa, India as part of The RIACE International Arts and Cultural Exchange Program. This led her to curate three, successful exhibitions, including The Pearse Museum, St. Enda’s Park (Office of Public Works) Ranelagh Arts Festival featuring the traditional artwork of 51 Indian artists from the heritage
